- I have the Supra 288 v.34 external.
- IMHO the single most important option a modem can have is a flash-rom.
- The Supra 288 V.34 external and Cardinal 288 V.34 external both have
- flash-roms.
- I have seen flasher updates for the Cardinal. I believe what I saw
- was for an IBM PC. You might check to see if they have some sort of
- Amiga flasher, because if you do not have an IBM PC it can be a drag
- to flash your modem.
- Supra used to make an amiga flasher. Now they are making a
- X-Modem flasher.
-
- The SupraExpress does not have a flasher.
- AFAIK the USR Sportster does not have a flasher either.

- : How well does Term 4.2 work at 28.8?
- There are more recent versions than that. I use 4.5.
- Term 4.5 works well, I use Y-modem-G for file transfers.
- I rarely get transfer errors.
